What's Nearby:L'Aunay is an 18th century farm in the Department Sarthe of the region called the Pays de La Loire. It is approximately one kilometre from the village of Souge-le-Ganelon. There are two main ways to get to the farm from Paris. The quickest is via the TGV (high-speed train) from Gare Montparnasse to the closest large town Le Mans. The train trip takes 55 minutes and the farm is 20 minutes, by car, north of Le Mans. The other alternative is to drive from Paris via the autoroute. This takes two to two and a half hours depending on time of day, traffic etc. Alternatively, you can make it a day trip using the many national roads that meander through the countryside from village to village. Many well known attractions are close to l'Aunay including the Chateaux of the Loire, Mont Saint Michel, Bayeux tapestry, D-Day beaches and Monet’s Garden.
