L’Aunay is an 18th century farm in the Department Sarthe of the region called the Pays de La Loire.  It is approximately one kilometre from the village of Souge-le-Ganelon.

The farmhouse construction is of the traditional method using fieldstone from the surrounding land.  Its layout follows the typical U shape format.  That is, a barn on one side, the stables on the other and the house in the middle.  Tastefully furnished with all modern conveniences and locally acquired antiques this property is a slice of paradise in a world full of everyday stress.

As a romantic hideaway or as a family holiday, l'Aunay farm is a perfect location to simply drop out and enjoy the local countryside and village life or visit the many famous French sites that are available as day trips.  These include the Chateaux of the Loire, Mont Saint Michel, Bayeux tapestry, D-Day beaches, Monet’s Garden and many more.
